Find the angles between the pair of line...

Find the angles between the pair of lines whose slopes are , `sqrt3`,-1 .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let `m_1=sqrt3,m_2=-1`
`therefore` `tantheta=(m_2-m_1)/(1+m_1m_2)=(-1-sqrt3)/(1-sqrt3)`
=`((sqrt3+1)/(1+sqrt3))=(sqrt3+1)/(sqrt3-1)=tan75^@ `
`therefore` `theta=75^@`.
