(b ) During fertilization two types of fusion takes place in the embryo sac of ovule i.e., syngamy and triple fusion. One male gamete fuses with egg and forms zygote, i.e., called syngamy. Second male gamete fuses with two polar nuclei in the central cell and forms primary endosperm nucleus and endosperm, i.e., called triple fusion.
