(a) Ligases: It is anenzyme used to join the DNA fragments. It is a moleular suture or molecular glue or joiningenzyme which is commonly used in rDNA technology
(b) Restriction enzyme: Enzymes which cut DNA at specific sites into fragments containing identifiable genes/It is known as biological scissors/molecular scissors.
