Write the differences between human insulin and genetically engineered insulin prepared by Eli Lilly company?

Human insulin consists of two short polypeptide chains A and B joined by disulphide bridges and another peptide C is joined to the two polypeptide chains A and B. This is known as prohormone It undergoes processing to form mature and functional insulin with A and B chains.
The synthesized insulin by Eli Lilly consists of only two polypeptide chains A and B only which are joined by disulphide bonds. This functional insulin does not contain C peptide.
