What is Biomagnification and what is the main reason for Biomagnification?

Explanation

It is the increas in concentration of the toxicant at successive trophic levels in a food chain which is called Biomagnification. It happens because a toxic substance accumulated by an organism can not be metabolised or excreted and is thus passed on to the next higher trophic level.
