What are the conclusions drawn by T.H Morgan from the crossing experiment?

i. He observed that when the two genes in a dihybrid cross are located on the same Chromosome, the proportion of parental gene combination in the progeny was much higher than the non-parental genes.
ii. When the genes are loosely linked they show higher recombination but when very tightly linked, showed very low recombination.
