The modification in the distribution of light energy due to super postion of two or more waves of light is called interfrenece of light .
In case of constructive interference
Path difference : `delta=nlamda,` n = 0, 1, 2, 3, … ,
In case of destructive interference
Path differcne : `sigma= (n+ (1)/(2))lamda`, n = 0, 1, 2, 3, .....
