In a binary solution, mole fraction of one component is 0.068. What is the mole fraction of another component?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In a solution, sum of mole fraction i.e., `x_(A)+x_(B)=1`
if `x_(A) or x_(B)=0.068`
`therefore x_(B)=1-x_(A)`
`=1-0.068`
`=0.932`
