A rectangular grassy lawn is 18 m by 12 m. It has a gravel path 1.5 m wide all around it on the outside. What is the area of the path .

Area of lawn`=18xx12=216m^2`
Total area (lawn+path)=`(18+3)xx(12+3)`
`=21xx15=315m^2`
`therfore Area of path(only)+315-216=99m^2`
