Define thermoplastics and thermosetting ...

Define thermoplastics and thermosetting polymers with two examples of each.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Thermoplastics are linear polymers which are hard at room temperature. Such polymers are hard at room temperature and on heating they become soft or fluid like and then can be moulded in any shape. They show reversible changes when heated and cooled. Thus, they can be used again and again. Two common examples of thermoplastics are polythene and polystyrene.
