(a) Pollen grains from species A could germinate in the stigma extract of its own species. They have very good percentage of germinating pollen (95%) showing its fertility. Pollen of species A is incompatible with species B and fails to germinate.
(b) Pollen from species B is sterile and fails to germinate in both extracts.
