In the given figure, `C_(2)and C_(3)` are connected in series.
`:. (1)/(C.)=(1)/(30)+(1)/(20)`
`=(2+3)/(60)`
`=(5)/(60)=(1)/(12)`
`rArr C.=12 mu F`
Now, C.. and `C_(4)` are connected in parallel,.
`C..=12+28=40 muF`
Now, C.. and `C_(1)` are connected is given by
`:.` The total equivalent capacitiance is given by
`(1)/(C)=(1)/(10)+(1)/(40)`
`=(4+1)/(40)`
`=(5)/(40)=(1)/(8)`
`C=8 muF`
