state two differences between interference and diffraction patterns.

Text Solution

Difference between interference of light and diffraction of light is : Interference :
Interference is due to superposition of light waves coming from two coherent sources.
Diffraction : Diffraction is due to interference of secondary wavelets coming from different parts of the same source.
