(a) Wall Pressure : The rigid cell wall offers resistance to turgor pressure. This resistance, which works in a direction opposite to the turgor pressure but is equal in strength to the turgor pressure, is called wall pressure.
(b) Root Pressure : Root pressure is the positive hydrostatic pressure developed in the cortical cells that pushes the water into the xylem upto a certain height.
(c) Guttation : Loss of water in the form of water droplets through hydathode.
