(a) Pneumonia

(i) Pneumonia : It is caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae.
Symptoms : High fever, coughing and loss of appetite.
(ii) Oedema : Accumulation of excess fluid in tissue, resulting in local swelling is called oedema.
It is usually caused by excess of sodium ion which in turn causes water retention. It may also be caused by obstructions in the lymphatic system, excessive capillary pressure or too little protein in the blood.
Symptoms : Swelling and aching of affected body parts such as feet, ankles and hands, stiff joints.
(iii) Angina : It occurs due to improper blood flow.
Symptoms : Chest pain, pain is arms, neck, jaw, nausea, fatigue, and dizziness.
