Explanation

Absence of nucleus in RBCs make them biconcave shaped. This increases their surface area for absorbing more oxygen. They do not have mitochondria so they are unable to use oxygen for themselves, so all oxygen is transported and delivered to cells and tissues. Absence of endoplasmic reticulum make them flexible due to which these can easily move through narrow capillaries.
