State why the boiling point of HF is very high.

Besides the van der Waals forces, HF can form intermolecular hydrogen bonds. This is due to the high electronegativity of F. This means more energy is needed to break the hydrogen bond as well as the van der Waals forces in HF and hence higher boiling point.
