Rajender cultivated cotton crop in his field. He did not get sufficient yield. Can you guess the reasons?

Spread a piece of wet cloth in the sunlight observe after sometime where has the water in the wet cloth gone the water evaporates into the atmosphere due to the heat of the sun when we want to dry clothes quickly we wave them about or keep them under a fan does the water in wet clothes dry up only due to sunlight or due to other reasons

In electrolytic fefining of cooper, pure Cu os used as anode. (B) Zone refining is based on the principle that impurities are more solutble in the melt than in the solid states of the metal. (D) Very pure Zr may be obtained by Galvanisation. (E) In copper smelting hot air is used to convery Cu_(2) S to CuSO_(4).

Passage-I : Metallic sulphates can be obtained by reacting the metals (above hydrogen in ECS), or its oxide, hydroxide or carbonate with dil. H_(2)SO_(4) . Group IA metals also form hydrogen sulphates which can be isolated in solid. In general metal sulphates are soluble in water and crystallize with water of crystallization. Sulphates are thermally more stable than nitrates. Select the stable hydrogen sulphate which can be obtained in solid state:

Oxidation number is the charge which an atom of an element has in its ion or appears to have when present in the combined state. It is also called oxidation state. Oxidation number of any atom in the elementary state is zero. Oxidation number of a monoatomic ion is equal to the charge on it. In compounds of metals with non metals, metals have positive oxidation number while non metals have negative oxidation numbers. In compounds of two difference elements, the more electronegative element has negative oxidation number whereas the other has positive oxidation number. In complex ions, the sum of the oxidation number of all the atoms is equal to the charge on the ion. If a compound contains two or more atoms of the same element, they may have same or different oxidation states according as their chemical bonding is same or different. The oxidation state of the most electronegative element in the products of the reaction between BaO_(2) and H_(2)SO_(4) are
