Find the equivalent resistance between points A and B

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`1/R_(1)=(1/3+1/3+1/3)`
`rArr1/R_(1)=1`
`rArrR_(1)=1Omega`
`R_(2)=5Omega`
`1/R_(3)=1/4+1/6=10/24`
`rArrR_(3)=24/10Omega`
Now, these resistances are connected in series.
`therefore` Equivalent resistance between A and B is
`R_(eq)=R_(1)+R_(2)+R_(3)`
= `1+5+24/10`
`R_(eq)=8.4Omega`
