3-Sebaceous gland - Sebaceous glands secrete the oily, waxy substance called sebum, which lubricates the skin and the hair. Arrector pili muscle – It generates heat when the body is cold. This muscle contracts all at once and causes the hair present on the skin to stand up straight (goose bumps)
