How can you show that your solution is really saturated ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Take some saturated solution of copper sulphate prepared in a test tube and add some copper sulphate crystals. The crystals do not dissolve but settle down. This shows that the solution is saturated as a saturated solution cannot dissolve any more of the solute without changing the temperature.
