Given, `m=1/3` (positive) for the erect (and virtual)
Image, r=36 cm (positive)
Depending on the point in of the object :
`therefore` From relation , `f=R/2=18` cm (positive )
From relation, `m=-v/u`
`therefore v=-1/3u`
From mirror.s formula, `1/(u)+1/(v)=1/(f)`
`1/(u)+1/(-u/3)=1/18`
`(-2)/u=1/18` or u=-36 cm
Thus the object is at a distance 36 cm in front of the mirror.
