In the circuit diagram given below, a cell of 9 V and internal resistance of `0.5 (Omega)` is connected across a resistor A of `2Omega` in series and two resistors of `2Omega` and `6Omega` in parallel.

Resistance of 22 and 6 resistor connected in given by
`(1)/(r)= (1)/(2)+(1)/(6)= (3+1)/(6) =(4)/(6)= (2)/(3)`
`r= (3)/(2)= 1.5 Omega`
Total resistance =`1.5+2+0.5 = 4Omega`
