A ray of monochromatic light enters a prism of angle 'A’ at grazing incidence and emerges at an angle `theta` to the normal on the opposite face. Show that refractive index `mu` of the material of the prism is given by `mu = [ 1+ ((sin theta + cos A)/ (sin A))^2]^(1/2)`.
