According to molar volume concept, weight of 22.4 l of a gas at S.T.P. is equal to molecular mass of the gas. Now,
`:.` 5.6 l of gas at S.T.P. weight 12.0 g
`:.` 22.4 l of gas at S.T.P. weight = `(12 xx 22.4)/(5.6)` = 48 g
Hence, molecular mass of the gas is 48 g.
