What is the role of gastrin in digestion ?

Gastrin is a gastrointestinal hormone secreted in stomach and upper small intestine. This hormone increases gastric activity, stimulates the cells of gastric glands to produce acid and pepsinogen, secretion of pancreatic juice and finally the secretion of which inhibits the gastrin secretion when stomach contents are released into the duodenum
