(i) Ethyl alcohol undergoes dehydration (Water molecules is removed) by heating with conc. `H_2 SO_4` at `433-443` K .

(ii) Propene reacts with HBr, in the absence of perioxide gives 2-bromopropane which is a product according to Markovnikov,s rule.
