Current passed, `I= 1.2 ` amp
Time for which current is passed = 15 min
`=15xx 60=900s`
Charge (in coulomb) passed through the solution
`= I xx t`
`=1.2 xx 900=1080C`
1080 coulomb deposit metal = 0.3605 g
96500 coulomb deposit metal
`=(0.3605)/(1080) xx 96500 =32.21 g`
`:.` Gram equivalent of metal = 32.21 g
Atomic mass = Eq. mass `xx` Valency
`:.` Valency `=(96)/(32.21)=2.98=3`
