Explanation

Cellular respiration is a major biochemical pathway involving release of energy to be utilised for various biological functions. The process takes place in a number of steps, each regulated by an enzyme. On the other hand, combustion is a one-step process involving release of energy in the form of heat and it does not involve any enzyme.
