Can three vectors not in a plane give zero resultant ? Can four vectors ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

No , three vectors not in a plane cannot give a zero resultant .Because the resultant of two vectors in a plane will lie in the same plane . This resultant cannot cancel the third vector in another plane . Four vectors not in one plane can give a zero resultant .
