What volume of propane is burnt for ever...

What volume of propane is burnt for every `100 " cm"^(3)` of oxygen used in the reaction `C_(3)H_(8) + 5O_(2) to 3CO_(2) + 4H_(2)O`? Gas volumes are measured under the same conditions.

From the above reaction, it is clear
5 volumes of oxygen will bum 1 vol. of propane
1 volume of oxygen will burn `1/5` of propane
100 cc of oxygen will burn `1/5xx100` cc of propane
=20 cc
