When placed in bright sunlight for four hours, what do you observe with regard to the initial and final weight of the plant?
Give a suitable reason for your answer.

The final weight of the plant will be lesser than its initial weight since the rate of transpiration is more than the rate of absorption of water hence leaves transpire, causing the reduction in the weight of the plant.
