The medians of a triangle meet at (0,-3)...

The medians of a triangle meet at (0,-3) and two vertices are at (-1,4)(5,2). Then what is the third vertex.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Centroid is (0,-3). Let third vertex = (x,y)
`0=(-1+5+x)/3` or, x=-4
`-3=(4+2+y)/3` or,y = -15
`therefore` PA is (-4,-15).
