If alpha and Beta are roots of ax^2+bx+c...

If `alpha` and `Beta` are roots of `ax^2+bx+c=0`,find the value of `(aalpha+b)^(-3)+(aBeta+b)^(-3)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

As we know `alpha+Beta`=-b/a and `alphaBeta`=c/a. Now using this in given expression
`(aalpha+b)^(-3)+(abeta+b)^(-3)` "reduces to" `(b^3-3abc)/(a^3c^3)`
