A block is placed on an inclined plane m...

A block is placed on an inclined plane moving towards right horizontally with an acceleration `a_(0)=g`. The length of the plane `AC=1m`. Friction is absent everywhere. Find the time taken (in seconds) by the block to reach from C to A.

The correct Answer is:
1

Drawing the free-body diagrame of block with respect to plane. Acceleraton of the block up the plane is
`a=(mg cos 37^(@)-mg sin 37^(@))/(m)`
`=g((4)/(5)-(3)/(5))=2ms^(-2)`
Applying , `s= (1)/(2) at^(2)` we get
`rArr r= sqrt((2s)/(a)) = sqrt((2 xx 1)/(2))=1s`
