According to Lenz's law, current in coil A grows in clockwise direction (when switch S is closed). This causes increases in magnetic flux linking the coil B in clockwise direction. Therefore, current is induced in coil B in anticlockwise direction. Similarl, when switch is opened, magnetic flux linked with coil B decreases. The direction of induced current in coil B will be clockwise.
