Energy given out by the source per secondf = power (P) Energy given by source in `1 ` second `= P xx 1`
as `lambda = 5000 Å` the energy per photon of green light is gives by
`hv = (hc)/(lambda) `
Number of photons (n) emitted in time `1` second is gives by
`n = (Pt)/(((hc)/(lambda))) =(Pt lambda)/(hc)`
Using `P = 100 J s^(-1), lambda = 5000 xx 10^(-10)m, and t = 60 s ` we get
Number of photon (n)
`= (100(60)(5000 xx 10^(-10)))/(6.626 xx 10^(-14)(3 xx 10^(8))) = 1.5 xx 10^(22)`
