The guves series lies is the visible regain and that appear to be Balmer series
Therefore `n_(1) = 2 and n_(2) = 7` foir mext line
Farthermore if `lambda = 410.29 xx 10^(7) cm and n_(2) = 2 then n_(2)` may be calculated by
`(1)/(lambda) = R_(H) =[(1)/(n_(1)^(2)) - (1)/(n_(2)^(2))]`M
`(1)/(410.29 xx 10^(-7)) = 109678[(1)/(2^(2)) - (1)/(n_(2)^(2))]`
Thus , the mext will be obtained during the jump of the electron from severth to second shell i.e.
`(1)/(lambda) = R_(H) [(1)/(2^(2)) - (1)/(7^(2))] = 109678[(1)/(4) - (1)/(49)]`
`:. lambda = 397.2 xx 10^(-7) cm = 397.2 nm`
