Bond strength of halogens should be `F_(2) gt CI_(2) gt Br_(2) gt I_(2)`
But experimentally it was found to be `CI_(2) gt Br_(2) gt F_(2) gt I_(2)`
Due to very small size of the F-atoms which leads to repulsions between non-bonding `e^(-')s` present on each F-atom thus making `F -F` bond weaker than `Br -Br` bond
