Sulphur mainly occurs in the earth's crust in the conbined states as sulphates and sulphides..
Suphates:
Gypsim `CaSO_4.7H_2O`
Baryta `BaSO_4`.
Epsom salt `MgSO_4.7H_2O`
Sulphies: Ganela `PbS`
Zinc blende `ZnS`
Copper pyrites `CuS.FeS` or `CuFeS_2`
Iron pyrites `FeS_2`
Traces of sulphur occur as `H_2S` and in organic matter such as anion, mustard eggs, garlic, hair etc.
