In which C–C bond of `CH_(3)CH_(2)CH_(2)Br` , the inductive effect is expected to be the least?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Magnitude of inductive effect decreases as the number of inervening bonds increases. Hence, the effect is least in the bond between `C-3` and `H`.
