In the derivation `P=hrhog`, it was assumed that the liquid is incompressible. Why is this equation not strictly valid for a compressible liquid?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

If liquid would be compressible, then the density of the liquid of the liquid would not be same at all positions. Therefore, the equation `P=hrhog` will not be valid.
