A function f(x) is defined as `f(x)=x^2+3`. Find f(0),f(1), `f(x^2)`, f(x+1) and f(f(1)).

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

f(0)=`0^2`+3=3
f(1)=`1^2`+3=4
`f(x^2)=(x^2)^2+3=x^4+3`
f(x+1)=`(x+1)^2+3=x^2+2x+4`
f(f(1))= f(4) =`4^2`+3=19
