In factories rods are suspended from roof with the help of wires for certain mechanical operations. These operations are always limited by the elastic property of suspension wires and the rod. A rod of length l is held horizontal by suspending it by two wires A and B of different materials but equal lengths having area of cross-sections `0.2 cm^2` and `0.3 cm^2`. A weight W is hung from the rod. The value of `Y_A = 12 xx 10^11` and `Y_B = 36 xx 10^11`.
