If `y=x^4-10` and if x change from 2 to 1.99, what is the approximate change in y?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

We have` y=x^4 -10`
Since , x change from 2 to 1.99, we have deltax =1.99-2=-0.01
Approximate change in y=dy = `(dy/dx)`.deltax = -0.32(Ans.)
