Work Problem related to speed, distance and time Two places A and B are at distance 160km . Two cars starting form tha same place and moving in the same direction meet after eight hours. Again moving in the oppoosite directions from A to B. The cars meet each other after one hour. Find the speed of the cars.

Work Problem related to speed, distance and time The ratio of the speed A to B is 2:3 . If A takes 3 hours more then B to cover 30km . Find the speed of A and B.

Work Problem related to speed, distance and time A men walks a certain distance at a certain rate. Had he walked 1/2 km per hour faster, he would taken one hour less. But if he had gone one km/hour slower, he would have taken three hours longer. Find the distance covered by the mann and his original rate of walking.

Three persons walk along a circle and require 10m, 15m and 18 m respectively to complete the circle. They start to walk along the circle from the same point and at the same time. Find after what time they meet again at the starting point for the first time.

A trolley of mass 200 kg moves with a uniform speed of 36 km/ h on a frictionless track. A child of mass 20 kg runs on the trolley from one end to the other (10 m away) with a speed of 4 m s^-1 relative to the trolley in a direction opposite to the its motion, and jumps out of the trolley. What is the final speed of the trolley? How much has the trolley moved from the time the child begins to run?

A car and a bus start from a place P at the same time and move non-stop towards a place where the distance between P and Q is 210 km. The car takes half an hour less than the bus to arrive Q. If the average speed of the car is 10 km/h more than that of the bus, find the average speed of the car and the bus.

An aeroplane leaves an airport and flies due north at a speed of 1000 km per hour. At the same time another aeroplane leaves the same airport and flies due west at a speed of 1200 km per hour. How far apart will be the twö planes after 1(1/2) hours?.

Two inclined frictioniess tracks, one gradual and the other steep meet at A from where two stones are allowed to slide down from rest, one on each track (Fig. 6.16). Will the stones reach the bottom at the sam time? Will they reach there with the same speed? Explain. Given 0?t = 30°, 0_2 = 60°, and h = 10 m, what are the speeds and times taken by the two stones?

The distance between two cars is 456 km. If the two cars approach each other at the speed of 42 km. per hour and 34 km. per hour respectively, find after what time they will meet.
