How does sweating help to lower the temperature of the body ?

The sweat from sweat glands spreads on the surface of the skin. It evaporates due of the heat and at that time, it draws heat from the body. As the evaporation takes place rather, more and more heat is absorbed and then body becomes cooler. Thus sweating helps to lower the temperature of the body.
