Fresh milk has a pH of 6. How do you think the pH will change as it turns into curd? Explain your answer.

When fresh milk turns into curd, lactic acid is formed. More acidic a solution is, the lower will be its pH value.
Therefore, the pH 6 of fresh milk decreases in a curd and falls below 6.
