Find the arithmetic between :
(i) 56 and 64
(ii) ` x^(2) - y^(2) and x^(2) + y^(2)`
(iii)` - 15 and 63 `

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) A.M. between 56 and 64 ` = (56 + 64)/(2) = (120)/(2) = 60 `
(ii) A.P. between ` x^(2) - y^(2) and x^(2) + y^(2) = (x^(2) - y^(2) + x^(2) + y^(2))/(2) = (2x^(2))/(2) = x^(2)`
(iii) A.P. between -15 and ` 63 = (-15 + 63 )/(2) = (48)/(2) = 24` .
