If the values of `q_(1)` and `q_(2)` are `+q, - 2q` respectively now a third charge `-q` has to be placed on line AB so that is can be stable equilibrium .The distance of point where third charge is placed from charge q, wouldbe ( take `a= 12 cm )`.
